- Am I (the client) responsible for the content posted on my website? Yes. Anything posted on your site is your responsibility. We can help you gather information, but it is not our obligation. Need help writing your website? Inquire about our copy writing services.
< back - Does the design of the website belong to me or does Orange Snowman own the copyrights? The client owns the editorial rights to the site’s content. The client does not own the rights to the theme generating technology which the artist uses. For ex. when you buy a house you don’t buy the right to the floorplans. Should you ever need a backup, in the form of a CD, you can get one as long as your payments are current for a $25 fee.
< back - How long will it take Orange Snowman to complete my website? Most projects will take about 15-20 working days after the submission of all project-related materials. Exceptions may apply.
< back - If Orange Snowman registers the domain name for me, will OS transfer the name back to me upon request? Yes. If your payments are current
< back - If you do not want to use Orange Snowman anymore, will OS return the website to me upon request? Yes. If your payments are current, we will supply you with a CD containing a copy of your website for a $25 fee.
< back - What happens if I abandon the project? After (30) days, if Orange Snowman has not heard from you, we consider the project finished.
< back - What happens if I cannot meet my payment? If you cannot make a scheduled payment, please contact us Immediately and we will try to accomodate you. Otherwise, Orange Snowman holds the right to cancel the project or dictate new payment terms.
< back - What happens if I change my mind and want a different design? You have the right to change your mind, but you will have to compensate Orange Snowman for our time.
< back - What is SEO? Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a website from search engines via “natural” (organic or algorithmic) search results for targeted keywords phrases. We have SEO writers that can create copy that is engaging, memorable, and will attract search engines to your site.
< back - What is SES? Orange Snowman will submit your to search engines (Search Engine Submission, or SES): Google, MSN and Yahoo.
< back - What is web hosting and what are the benefits of using the Orange Snowman? A service that allows websites access to the World Wide Web. Not all web hosting services are the same, just like cell phone plans hosting services vary in quality and reliability. Orange Snowman provides space on a server that allows clients to edit the content of their websites. We monitor your site for performance, should you need more broadband or memory, our server let’s us know and we fix the problem before it happens. Another big advantage of hosting with Orange Snowman is that should you ever need help with your site we are one phone call away, no more waiting 10 minutes on the phone to speak with a customer service rep in Bombay India. Hosting with us give you access to member’s only section with tutorials that will teach you how to mange your site. Finally if you need to learn more complex procedures such as learning how to add products to a shopping cart we can customize a video tutorial that will suit your specific needs. Our Rates:

- When will my website appear in the search engines? Orange Snowman will submit your website to the main search engines after the website has been completed. From our own experience, we start to see results after 2-4 weeks.
< back - What’s your policy on cancellations & refunds
Cancellations of service renewals for on-going website promotion, website hosting, online marketing campaigns or domain registration services must be made at least seven (7) business days prior to the end of the current service period and must be made by e-mail to info@orangesnowman.com. Requests in less than seven (5) business days prior to the end of the current service period will be treated as cancellations during a service period. Refunds will be issued for any unused portion of the pre-paid service minus a $25 cancellation service fee. All refunds will be made by check or the exact same credit card used and will be issued within seven (30) business days of the request for cancellation of service. We do not provide customer support for the transfer of our website to another hosting company, the new company should take care of that.
Our Website development efforts are done in phases, If after phase 1 you do not want to continue, you can quit the project without any further payments. Hourly fees ($60/hr) for work completed will not be refunded. It is you obligation to let us know if you are quiting a project, otherwise your are financially liable for any additional work we perform. Requests for wishing to quit a project must be made ASAP by e-mail to info@orangesnowman.com, otherwise you will have to pay for work that has been done. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON DEPOSITS, ONLY CREDIT.

Orange Snowman does not give your personal information to anyone. The information is kept confidential and will be used for the purpose of contacting you. We maintain a strict “No Spam” policy, that means we do not intend to sell, rent, or otherwise give your e-mail address to a third-party. We will not share your information outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship, special promotions an order, etc.
