Is Orange Snowman responsible for policy changes from social media accounts, search engine policies or any other third party used in the building or promotion of your site?
No. If Facebook decides they want to charge for their services or decide to discontinue a feature we are using, there is nothing Orange Snowman can do. Therefore we can't be held responsible for changes in business practices of policies of other companies. At Orange Snowman we act with good intentions, and review very carefully the use of third party software and infrastructure.
Who owns the copyright?
The client owns the copyright to the site's content. The client does not own the rights to the theme generating technology which the artist used. For example, when you buy a house you don't buy the right to the floor plans. If you need "the floor plans" the design fee will increase 33%. That's more than fair, that's a good deal!
How do I open my backup disc?
The CD is meant to be provided to a professional web hosting company. It is not meant to be opened by your local kinkos or cousin who took a course online. The CD holds your entire website, databases, html, javascripts, images, etc. Good luck with your new hosting company (you will need it).

Can Orange Snowman guarantee that the website will look the same in all browsers?
We target Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox for the PC. All browsers display information a little differently special effects that are available for one browser may not work in another. Also computers display colors differently. People can customize their computer to display type larger or smaller, people also have the choice of changing the resolution in their monitors. We try to find a happy medium, and we are pretty good at it, but we can't guarantee that the information will be display the same way in different computers, browsers, screen cell phones or any other display mechanism.
Is Orange Snowman responsible for protecting and or storing the art work or marketing materials I provide?
No. We treat the materials you provide with much care. Nevertheless, accidents happen, so if you are concern about the value of the materials you are providing either make copies or take a chance. We don't have the obligation to keep any of your materials for more than 2 months. It's not our obligation to remind you to pick up your art work/marketing materials.
Can parts of my website be private?
Yes, private pages, password protected pages and different levels of access to the site can be established (administrator, editor, contributor, author, subscriber).
Can Orange Snowman track my visitors?
Yes, web analytics reports can be provided on a monthly basis they will provide insight into your website traffic and marketing effectiveness.
Can my Website be a Blog Also?
Yes, you will be able to interact with your customers, have posts and everything a blog does.
What’s Orange Snowman's policy on cancellations & refunds?
Cancellations of service renewals for on-going website promotion, website hosting, online marketing campaigns or domain registration services must be made at least seven (7) business days prior to the end of the current service period and must be made by e-mail to info@orangesnowman.com. Requests in less than seven (5) business days prior to the end of the current service period will be treated as cancellations during a service period. We do not provide customer support for the transfer of our website to another hosting company, the new company should take care of that. Our Website development efforts are done in phases, If after phase 1 you do not want to continue, you can quit the project without any further payments. Hourly fees ($60/hr) for work completed will not be refunded. It is you obligation to let us know if you are quiting a project, otherwise your are financially liable for any additional work we perform. Requests for wishing to quit a project must be made ASAP by e-mail to info@orangesnowman.com, otherwise you will have to pay for work that has been done. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON DEPOSITS, ONLY CREDIT.
When will my website appear in the search engines?
Orange Snowman will submit your website to the main search engines after the website has been completed. From our own experience, we start to see results after 2-4 weeks.
What is SES?
Search Engine Submission, Orange Snowman will submit your to the most important search engines Google 72.52% , Yahoo 14.99%, Bing 8.81% (percentage of market share).
What is SEO?
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a website from search engines via “natural” (organic or algorithmic) search results for targeted keywords phrases. SEO is our specialty!
What happens if I change my mind and want a different design?
At the beginning of the project you get the opportunity to choose a design theme. If the job is being finalized you still have the right to change your mind, and start the process anew, but you will have to compensate Orange Snowman for our time, it's the fair thing to do.
What happens if I cannot meet my payment?
If you cannot make a scheduled payment, please contact us Immediately and we will try to accomodate you. Otherwise, Orange Snowman holds the right to cancel the project or dictate new payment terms. Bad things happen to good people, we understand.
What happens if I abandon the project?
After (30) days, if Orange Snowman has not heard from you, we consider the project finished. Strange but it does happen.
If you do not want to use Orange Snowman anymore, will we return the website to me upon request?
Yes, if your payments are current, we will supply you with a CD containing a copy of your website for a $25 fee. Please don't ask us how to rebuild your site on our competitor's servers that is their job. And don't feel bad if after the switch you realize that you made a mistake. We will take you back, but you must buy us lunch, we are easy. And for those conspiracy theorists who think they have purchased a CD with nothing in it, and they have been swindelled out of 25 bucks we say: you are nuts! If Orange Snowman registers the domain name for me, will OS transfer the name back to me upon request?
Yes, If your payments are current. To request a name transfer open a Godaddy account and request for the name to be transfered. We will get notified and will accept your request, it's easy if you follow this simple procedure. We do not provide customer support on accounts that are being transfered to other vendors, if they are getting the business they should be supporting you. If not, come back to us we don't hold a grudge, it's happened before it will happen again.
How long will it take Orange Snowman to complete my website?
Most projects will take about 15-20 working days after the submission of all project-related materials. Exceptions may apply.
Am I (the client) responsible for the content posted on my website?
