This community is located west of the Gatlin Blvd. intersection of Interstate 95. Before CC started developing the area it was a cattle ranch. On the site, they built a commercial area of approximately 13,000,000 square feet, along with space for more than 18,000 residences. The CC website states that Tradition is the largest completely entitled residential development from Interstate 95 up to the U.S.- Canada border.  The model for Tradition was a 1950s-era town. The CC website also states that the community’s town center called Tradition Square hosts festivities year-round. It has been named one of the best 100 communities in America and was selected by HGTV to be their site for Green Home 2009.
